Inventorum – beta version

On the 5th of August 2015 the beta version Inventorum was launched.

We would like to invite everyone to use the system, as well as share your comments and opinions via e-mail at: inventorum-help@opi.org.pl.

Next expert meeting

The second discussion panel with experts participating in the Inventorum project took place at the Koźmiński University in Warsaw.

During this edition, the representatives of the scientific and business sectors tried to find a solution to the problem of verifying the innovative capital measurement models in companies. The models were developed based on literature review and the indicators worked out during the previous meeting in June.

The Koźmiński University is a partner of the National Information Processing Institute in the Inventorum project.

System usability tests (3rd phase)

The third phase of the system usability test is underway, as planned in the schedule.  The invited entrepreneurs and experts from the service, industrial design and medical sectors helped us to evaluate the system and eliminate errors concerning the conferences, experts and projects modules.  The third phase of tests is being conducted by the Interactive Technologies Laboratory of the National Information Processing Institute.

Inventorum is tested by the businesses

According to the project schedule in June has been completed the third phase of testing applications. It has been carried out by Laboratory of Interactive Technologies.

Inventorum on the IEEE ICIT 2015 Conference

Between the 17th and the 19th of March, Jarosław Protasiewicz, D. Eng., the head of the Inventorum project took part in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers International Conference. The scientists and enthusiasts of industrial technologies from all over the world met in Seville to discuss. Dr Protasiewicz presented the results of his research in a presentation, titled “Improvement of MLP models for forecasting electrical energy consumption using OBD and OBS methods”.

System usability tests (2nd phase)

The next round of tests, this time including the system’s interface and newly implemented functionalities: company and innovation data management, editing the legal protections and access via social media, is underway. This time, we asked people who run their own businesses, as well as those responsible for implementing innovative solutions in the companies to provide feedback.  Additionally, a series of interviews with NIPI employees who will be maintaining the system in the future was conducted. The tests are conducted by the Interactive Technologies Laboratory of the National Information Processing Institute.

System usability tests (1st phase)

The tests of the Inventorum system’s interface and the usability of its functionalities, such as information service, registration, accounts, innovation and company data editing etc. are underway. The testing group consists of entrepreneurs, whose comments and feedback will allow us to adjust the initial assumptions of the system’s designers.  The tests are conducted by the Interactive Technologies Laboratory of the National Information Processing Institute.

On Inventorum in a scientific context

During the seminar, which took place in the National Information Processing Institute, the head of  the NIPI Laboratory of Intelligent Information Systems, Jarosław Protasiewicz, D. Eng., discussed the assumptions of the Inventorum Project, taking into account the conducted and planned research and development work.

Experts on the innovation capital

The scientists, entrepreneurs and creators of innovative technological solutions were invited to participate in an expert panel on the subject of the innovation capital of companies.

The meeting was organised by the Koźmiński University, a partner of the NIPI in the Inventorum project.  The KU is responsible for isolating the indicators of a model, which – by using state-of-the-art technology – will search the Internet for data on companies and research centres, focusing on the most innovative ones.  It was therefore established that in order to build such a model properly, it is necessary to use the experience of people who are involved in innovative work.
