Cooperation with Startup Hub Poland Foundation

We have begun cooperation with Startup Hub Poland Foundation in the areas of animation and support for the Polish and European environment for innovation, science and development of advanced technologies. The letter of intent regarding cooperation for promoting the Polish scientific ecosystem as well as supporting innovative business enterprises has been signed by dr Olaf Gajl and Maciej Sadowski.

Inventorum at the Military Institute of Medicine

Dr Jarosław Protasiewicz will represent Inventorum at the Military Institute of Medicine during the 5th edition of the “Science and Education Week”, which will take place on 7th-11th of March 2016. The second day of the session will be devoted to commercialisation of scientific research and results. The discussion will start from the important question: “So… I have an idea. What now?”

Inventorum Launch

System usability tests (4th phase)

The system is undergoing the final testing phase. The invited testers are evaluating the new information service and the general perception of the system.   The results will allow us to determine whether the information presented by the system are attractive and clear.  The tests are conducted by the Interactive Technologies Laboratory of the National Information Processing Institute.

Science drives business

Dr Olaf Gajl presented the Inventorum platform during the “Science drives business” meeting. The event took place as a part of a social campaign organised by the Warsaw editorial office of the Gazeta Wyborcza newspaper, entitled “iLab – Laboratory of Innovations”. The representatives of the scientific and business fields attempted together to find an answer to several important questions: how to find scientists for conducting research? What are the expectations of businesses, and what does the scientific world expect from them? How to avoid pitfalls in joint projects?

Inventorum on the IEEE SMC 2015 Conference

Between the 9th and 12th of October, Jarosław Protasiewicz, D. Eng., the head of the Inventorum project took part in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers International Conference. During the conference, Protasiewicz presented a paper titled “Multilingual and hierarchical classification of large datasets of scientific publications”. He also discussed the potential for international cooperation in the context of the Inventorum system. The established contacts will be used to increase the range of the Inventorum system in its maintenance phase.
